This often involves rethinking built-in storage to optimize space in sloped ceilings, using light, natural materials like oak, walnut, and stone to maintain an open feel, and incorporating large glass panels to highlight the views without dominating the room. In Redwood Shores, where homes frequently feature modern or Mediterranean influences, I focus on cohesive, high-end materials, such as matte black metalwork, polished marble surfaces, and custom woodwork, that align with the neighborhood’s refined aesthetic.
