Project Overview
Located in Folsom, California, this bathroom renovation was designed with long-term functionality in mind, transforming an existing tub-shower combination into a curbless walk-in shower to better support accessibility and aging in place. The approach focused on thoughtful updates that balanced practicality with a clean, cohesive aesthetic. The existing floor tile was preserved and extended seamlessly into the new shower, creating continuity throughout the space while making use of materials already on hand. A new vanity, updated lighting, and modern plumbing fixtures bring a fresh, refined feel, while matte black accents introduce contrast and definition against the lighter finishes. The curbless shower, complete with integrated grab bars and a streamlined glass enclosure, is designed to support ease of use without compromising the overall design.
